Bromley Methodist Church
The current church building was opened in 1990. The ground floor, including the worship area, is fully accessible to the disabled. We have toilet facilities for the disabled and a hearing loop. The church has a car park (managed by an ANPR system) for the use of those attending worship or meetings, and there is a drop off point and four designated disabled parking spaces. There are racks for bicycles.
We are part of the Widmore Methodist Circuit - a friendly group of 11 churches serving communities in south-east London/Kent with a membership that spans all ages. The circuit is overseen by the Superintendent Minster. Together with many other circuits, make up the London Methodist District which is overseen by the District Chair.
We are also part of the Churches Together in Central Bromley (CTCB). This is an ecumenical group of churches that come together to support each other in mission to Bromley. We support the work of the Bromley Town Centre Chaplaincy.
Experience Easter is organised annually for the local schools. During the mornings and afternoons of one week before Easter, the children come to the church and lean about different aspects of Easter through stories and activities.
Summer Stay and Play is on every Wednesday during the 5 week summer holiday. We provide refreshments, activities and games for the whole family.
We support a number of national and local charities including Bromley Foodbank, Bromley Homeless Charity, JusB, Bromley Brighter Beginnings.
