Bromley Methodist Church
We have a Morning Service at 10:30am but the Services are not all the same! The preachers at our services include our own Minister, visiting Ministers and Local Preachers.
Our Holy Communion Service is held on the first Sunday of the month and everyone in the congregation (young or old) is invited to come to the Communion Table to receive the sacrament of bread and wine or a blessing. At the end of the Communion service, there is a retiring collection which supports those in need or for the work of a charity.
The All-Age Service (just what the name suggests) is held on the second Sunday of the month is a very informal service.
We have a thriving Sunday School that meets every Sunday morning when it is not an all-age worship. At the end of every service, the congregation will hear from the children themselves about what they have been learning and share visual aids that they have produced during their sessions.
During worship, parents with children aged under 3 years are invited to sit in the Sunshine Area at the back of the church where there are books and toys available.
Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are served in the concourse for everyone to share.
Join us each Thursday at 12 noon for a time of prayer and reflection in the chapel led by one of our congregation.
A Praise and Prayer group meets at 7:30pm for prayer and fellowship.
We have a Prayer Chain where prayer and requests are prayed for by a team of intercessors. Requests can be made through the minister or via email, and the team are bound by a commitment to confidentiality.
There are also several House Groups which usually meet on a monthly basis, either in the morning or evening, where people get together to study the Bible and discuss a variety of religious-based topics including leaning more about our faith. If you would like to join one, please email the Minister.
