Inclusion

Bromley Methodist Church is committed to promoting equality, diversity  and inclusion in all aspects of our community and in our daily interactions with one another. We believe that all individuals should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, or any other characteristic that may make them unique. We will actively work to ensure that our church is a safe and welcoming environment for all people, and we will strive to eliminate discrimination and prejudice in any form. We will also make efforts to promote understanding and acceptance of different cultures and backgrounds within our community. We will work to provide equal opportunities for all members of our community to participate in our programmes and activities, and we will make reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Accessibility

The ground floor, including the worship area, is fully accessible to the disabled. We have toilet facilities for the disabled and a hearing loop in the chapel. There is a stair lift to the upstairs rooms.

Large-print hymn books and other materials are available on request.

The church has a car park (operated and managed by a third party company using the ANPR system) for the use of those attending worship or meetings, and there is a drop-off point and four designated disabled parking spaces.

We seek to be SEN and dementia-friendly.

Bromley Methodist Church is committed to offering a welcome to all. Please get in touch to tell us how we can help make church accessible for you.
