Bromley Methodist Church

Children & Young People

Children and Young People are a very important part of our church community.  Many of our young people take an active role in sharing their gifts in lots of different ways such as through music, AV operation, writing prayers and creativity.  Every one of our Sunday services includes a time of sharing with our children and young people, usually at the end of worship time.

Our Sunday School meets every week at 10:30am except when it is all-age worship.  We learn about the Christian faith and Bible stories through videos, crafts, stories, discussions and games. The sessions are designed for children aged 3 - 11 years old.  All of us, whatever age we are, have questions about our lives, our world and about God, so together, we explore the answers and share what we have discovered.

Our Youth Bible Study is for young people at Secondary school and we meet once a month on a Sunday at 10:30am, usually on the first Sunday of the month.  We welcome all kinds of opinions, questions and perspectives as we look together at what the Bible has to say about our lives and about God.

There is no cost to attend our Sunday School or Youth Bible Study.  We are committed to following the Methodist Church's Safeguarding policies and all our leaders have been DBS checked.  On their first visit, we ask parents or carers to complete a registration form so we are aware of any needs a child or young person may have.  This information is kept securely in line with our Privacy and GDPR policy.

We are also pleased to host our annual Summer Stay and Play sessions, the Easter Experience event for local schools, the Kinder Preschool and our Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.
